Grayson Christian School is a Christian education program using Christian based curriculum. The curriculum has been prepared by qualified Christian educators with a strong emphasis on the basic fundamentals of education. Accelerated Christian Education and Alpha Omega Publishing, Inc. meets your child where he is, helps him set goals he can accomplish, permits him to work at his speed and helps him to experience the satisfaction that goes with achievement.
An Opportunity
The objective in providing a private Christian school is to obey the Biblical commands of Deuteronomy 6:5-7a, "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart; and with all thy soul; and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart; and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children." Also fulfilling Proverbs 22:6 to train up a child in THE WAY he SHOULD go. Teaching and training for life must include teaching for eternity.
A Christian school is an extension of the Christian home in training young people for time and eternity in a Christian environment. School staff work closely with parents to train the whole child.
Attendance at GCS is a privilege,
not a right.
The goals of this school are not to reform, but to train Christian youth of
every God given ability in the principles of Christian leadership,
self discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity and good citizenship.
GCS stands without apology for the old time Gospel
and the highest standards of morality and Christian behavior.
A Ministry
Grayson Christian School is a ministry to local families. As a ministry, GCS has goals and objectives which can e fulfilled only through a planned course of study characterized by certain Biblical principles involving you, your child and our united Christian cooperation.
GCS is dedicated to the training of children in a program of study, activity and living that is Christ-centered. We believe that "all things should be done decently and in order" and that our students should be taught to accept a given responsibility to "walk honorably before all men".
